This year marks the beginning of a new chapter for Hotel Ulli – the family tradition will be continued in the 3rd generation. With the winter season 2021/22 I, Lukas, grandson of Ulli and Helmut Müller will take over the management of the hotel.
The house Ulli was built in 1961 by my grandparents. At the beginning, the former bed and breakfast Ulli consisted of 6 guest rooms and a breakfast room. Since then, the Müller family has welcomed guests from all over the world and has been able to steadily expand our house into a 4-star family hotel over the past decades. Also the circle of our regular guests grew continuously.
When Ulli and Helmut retired, the hotel was leased to the Wienerroither family. Renate & Günther ran the hotel with great care and dedication, keeping the family spirit of the founding couple alive. For their time and work in our house I would like to take this opportunity to thank them.
With the winter season 2021/22 I will take over the management of the hotel in the third generation. For all our guests who do not know me yet, or perhaps only by remembering how I romped through my grandparents’ hotel as a little boy, may I briefly introduce myself:
After completing my business administration studies at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration, I decided to pursue a master’s degree in Regensburg. After successfully completing my studies, I worked in various leading hotels in Austria as well as abroad. Not least due to my strong roots with Zürs and its mountain world, but also due to my passionate work as a ski instructor in the neighboring ski school Zürs, I always felt drawn back to my hometown. I would like to continue the Hotel Ulli in the spirit of the long tradition of my grandparents in the proven manner – yet combined with juvenile vitality and new approaches – as a family hotel.
In the upcoming winter season we will already surprise you with some novelties. This summer, a third of our rooms will be completely renovated. In addition, we will create an exquisite whisky/cigar lounge, as well as the “Small Hall” or “Spring Hall”, as it is affectionately called by our regular guests, will undergo a redesign.
Together with my siblings Lea and Laura and my parents Wilka and Stefan, I am already looking forward to a carefree winter season 2021/22. Also, you will certainly meet my grandmother Ulli more frequently in the hotel and on the ski slopes.
